Growth and performance

Rank in search. Get cited by the models.

Ablyon runs algorithmic growth engineering. Technical SEO and GEO in one system: entity optimisation and semantic structuring so language models cite you, alongside paid search and paid social run on predictive scaling. Every channel is instrumented to pipeline before a pound of budget moves.

Search stopped being ten blue links. A growing share of your buyers now get an answer before they get a results page, and that answer either names you or it does not. We engineer for both surfaces at once: the crawler that indexes your pages and the model that has to decide you are the credible entity to cite. Then we put paid budget behind whatever the data says is already working.

Dozens of brightly coloured plastic cogs of different sizes laid flat and interlocking.

How we deliver growth and performance

One system across organic, generative and paid surfaces. The measurement layer is built first, because a channel you cannot attribute is a channel you cannot scale.

How earned visibility and paid resolve against one measurement layerTwo lanes. The earned lane runs semantic structure into an unambiguous entity and on to the answer engines, where the outcome is logged as named, described accurately, or omitted. The paid lane runs four channel accounts as a single budget. Both lanes report into server-side conversion tracking wired to real revenue events, where budget follows predicted pipeline contribution and cohort payback decides the cut.EarnedSemantic structureOne consolidated graphEntityStable identifiersAnswer enginesNamed, described or omittedPaidGoogleMetaLinkedInTikTokOne budgetFour accountsServer-side conversionWired to revenue events before any campaign runsBudget follows predicted pipeline contributionCohort payback decides the cut
Earned and paid are not two teams reporting two numbers. They resolve against the same conversion data, which is the only way the budget question has an answer rather than an argument.
  1. Technical foundation and semantic structuring

Crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, internal link topology and render behaviour, fixed in the first sprint. Then the layer most audits skip: semantic structuring. Content is marked up so machines can parse claim from context, JSON-LD is emitted as a single consolidated graph with stable entity identifiers, and headings are written as the questions buyers actually ask, because a question head is what makes the paragraph beneath it liftable.

  2. Entity optimisation and LLM visibility

Answer engines resolve entities, not keywords. We build your entity out until it is unambiguous to a model: consistent naming and description across every surface you control, structured data that agrees with your copy, and citation-shaped passages that answer a question completely in the space a model will quote. Then we track it, prompting the major assistants on your commercial queries and logging whether you were named, described accurately, or omitted.

  3. Paid search and paid social on predictive scaling

Google, Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok run as one budget across four accounts. Creative volume is the lever the platforms respond to now, so we produce concepts at volume and let the auction find the winners. Budget follows predicted pipeline contribution, and the cut decision runs on cohort payback at a monthly clock, which is slow enough to be true.

  4. Conversion instrumentation and funnel repair

Server-side conversion tracking wired to real revenue events before any campaign runs, so the platforms optimise toward booked revenue. Then the funnel itself: we instrument the journey from first touch to booked call, find the steps that leak, and rebuild the messaging, pages and forms that are costing you. Traffic is the cheap half of this problem.

What is GEO, and how is it different from SEO?

Generative engine optimisation is the work of getting your brand named, described accurately and cited when a language model answers a question in your category. Traditional SEO competes for a position on a results page. GEO competes to be the source an answer is built from, which is a different contest with different mechanics.

The mechanics that matter: entity clarity, so the model knows what you are and does not confuse you with a similarly named company. Citation-shaped content, meaning passages that answer one question completely in the space a model will quote. Corroboration across sources the model already trusts, because a claim that appears only on your own domain is a claim with one witness. And structured data that agrees with your prose, since a contradiction between the two is resolved by ignoring both.

We sell it as one discipline, on one line item. It is what technical SEO became when the results page stopped being the only destination. Anyone charging you twice for the two is charging you twice for one job.

How do you measure whether AI answer engines cite you?

By asking them, on a schedule, at volume. We build a query set from your real commercial intents, run it against the major assistants, and log three things per query: whether you were named, whether the description was accurate, and which sources the answer was built from.

That last one is the actionable part. When a model builds its answer from a comparison page, a directory or a competitor's documentation, it has told you exactly where the authority currently sits, and that becomes the work. Sometimes the fix is a page you do not have. Often it is a factual correction on a third-party source that is describing you wrongly.

Nobody has clean share-of-voice numbers for this surface yet, ourselves included, and we will not invent one for a report. What we can show you is a tracked query set over time, with the wins and the omissions both visible.

How we run paid without burning the budget

The tracking goes in before the campaigns. Server-side events tied to real revenue outcomes, deduplicated, and reconciled against your CRM. Optimising a campaign against a conversion event that fires on a thank-you page is how accounts end up efficiently buying people who were never going to buy.

Then creative volume. Audience micro-targeting stopped being the lever several platform generations ago; the systems find the buyer if you give them enough distinct concepts to test. We produce at a volume that keeps the auction learning, which is where the AI production layer earns its place in this work.

And we scale on cohort payback. A channel gets more budget when the cohort it produced last month paid back, and it gets cut when it did not. That is a slower read than most agencies report on, and it is the only one that survives contact with your finance team.

Honest timelines

Paid moves first. Instrumented properly, a paid account produces a readable signal inside three to four weeks, and a defensible scaling decision inside two months.

Organic and generative are slower and they compound. Technical fixes can move indexation within weeks. Entity work and citation-shaped content typically take 90 to 180 days to show in rankings, and model citation behaviour lags that, because assistants are working from an index and a training corpus that both update on their own clock.

If you need pipeline this quarter, paid is the answer and we will say so. If you want a channel that gets cheaper per lead over two years while your competitors keep renting theirs, the organic and generative side is where that comes from. Running one without the other is the most common expensive mistake in this category.

What you get

A technical audit with prioritised fixes in week one, and a consolidated entity and schema layer that makes you legible to both crawlers and models. A tracked query set across the major answer engines, reported with the omissions shown alongside the wins.

Paid accounts on server-side conversion tracking reconciled to your CRM, run on creative volume, scaled on cohort payback. A funnel instrumented end to end with the leak points named and fixed.

One monthly read across all of it, showing what produced pipeline and what did not. When something is flat, the report says it is flat.

Questions

Is GEO a real thing or is it repackaged SEO?

The underlying work overlaps heavily with technical SEO done properly, which is why we do not sell it separately. What is genuinely new is entity disambiguation, citation-shaped content structure, and measuring whether assistants name you at all. If an agency is quoting you a separate GEO retainer on top of SEO, ask which deliverables differ.

Can you guarantee ChatGPT or Gemini will recommend us?

No, and nobody can. Model outputs vary by prompt, by session and by release, and no vendor controls what is in a training corpus. What is controllable is entity clarity, corroboration across sources models trust, and content shaped to be quotable. We track the result on a fixed query set, and you see the movement yourself.

Do you run SEO and paid together or can we buy one?

You can buy one, and sometimes you should. They do different jobs on different clocks: paid produces a readable signal in weeks, organic and generative compound over 12 to 24 months. Run together they subsidise each other, because paid search query data is the fastest read on which organic intents are worth building for.

How long before we can tell whether this is working?

Paid gives a readable signal inside the first few weeks, because spend buys data immediately. Organic and generative visibility move on a longer clock and are judged on leading indicators first: indexation health, entity clarity, and whether assistants name you on a fixed query set you agree with us up front.

How do you report?

Monthly, in one read across organic, generative and paid, with every line tied to pipeline. Tracked keyword positions, indexation health, the answer-engine query set with omissions included, cohort payback by paid channel, and the funnel step that is currently leaking worst.

Are you visible to the models your buyers now ask first?

30 minutes. We will run your commercial queries against the major assistants live on the call, and show you what they say about you today.
